Dr. Ankit Thakker is the Managing Director and CEO of Jupiter Life Line Hospitals Ltd, a  listed quaternary care hospital group with facilities in Thane, Pune, Indore, and Dombivli  and new projects underway in Mumbai. He joined Jupiter in 2014 and has since led its  growth into a multi-city group through Greenfield development.

Jupiter is on its way to becoming the largest healthcare provider from Maharashtra with  three new hospitals on the way, including BKC, Mumbai, taking the group strength to  about 3000 beds.

He is a qualified medical doctor with a Masters in Management from the London School  of Economics, and completed the Managing Health Care Delivery programme at  Harvard Business School.

He serves on the Governing Council of NatHealth and the CII Health Sub-Committee.  Outside of work, he enjoys trekking, scuba diving, and wildlife. He is based in Mumbai.
