Dr. Sudhir Srivastava
Dr. Sudhir Srivastava is a distinguished Indian-American cardiac surgeon and the visionary founder of SS Innovations, a company dedicated to advancing surgical robotics. With over 30 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Srivastava has been at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technology into surgical practices, aiming to enhance precision, reduce recovery times, and make advanced surgical procedures more accessible globally.
Dr. Srivastava earned his medical degree from J.L.N. Medical College in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and completed his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. In 2003, he co-founded Alliance Hospital in West Texas, where he achieved a groundbreaking milestone by performing the world’s first single-vessel Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB) on a beating heart. His innovative techniques have led to over 1,300 TECAB surgeries, significantly advancing the field of cardiac surgery.
As the architect of SS Innovations’ SSi Mantra, India’s first indigenous surgical robotic system, Dr. Srivastava has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing surgical procedures. The SSi Mantra has been used in over 1,000 complex surgeries globally, including successful cases in countries like Indonesia.
